![]() I don't have to worry about Georgia and/or Dagestan, neither moves into Don Voisko or Astrakhan either when the Mughals are there or when they rebel after the Mughals are destroyed. ![]() The selling-off provinces strategy means the south is quiet until Maratha moves up. Then I would get to trade for a few turns until the Ottomans blockaded my port in Crimea. Then go after Georgia and Dagestan as soon as possible after finishing off Crimean Khanate. Prior to this strategy, I would always trade Karelia to Sweden for Estonia & Livonia when Sweden suggests. I'm also not helping to slow down Maratha by denuding the treasuries of the Mughals and Persia. The reason I restarted my most recent game is that I had only 5 years left to get my required southern provinces (which includes Persia) and these were occupied by stack after stack of hindus. I also go the Museum route for Muscovy to help keep order and because Moscow gets a unique top museum structure. ![]() This means that gentlemen (unless on tech-stealing duty) all remain within Muscovy. This means that Muscovy gets 3 schools, and I specalize one each for military, industrial, and enlightenment tech and allocate gentlemen appropriately. The starting school at Nizhny Novgorod is eventually replaced by a smith but not until other schools are operational. Luga, though, in Ingria works well for a school when it appears. I avoid building a school in Tartariya, it always seems to lead to trouble. (When the Bashkira and Komi schools become wealthy, which always happens eventually, I convert them into industries. So by fairly early I have 5 schools operating. Bashkira and Komi get one new town and these both become schools. I send my starting priest to Bashkira to convert them fully. The first new town slightly south of Moscow is made into a school, and this becomes the primary school to upgrade up to and including modern university. With the initial cash bonus, I also upgrade the two remaining fur traders to markets. I re-arrange starting towns as follows:ġ) The poor weavers in Muscovy north is dismantled and replaced with a church.Ģ) The poor weavers in Muscovy east is dismantled and replaced with a school.ģ) The growing tavern in Muscovy east is dismantled and replaced with a weavers. The others are exempt till they're worth taxing. Starting treasury expands from initial 6k gold to 34k gold. This is one area where autocalc battles is your friend: 45 mounted cossacks vs 600 peasants w/ pitchforks? see Persia declares war within a decade, and they don't do anything with Arkhangelsk except build up archers and muslim mobs. To recap:Ģ) Arkhangelsk sold to Persia for 8k goldģ) Don Voisko & Astrakhan sold to the Mughals for 12k gold As noted in the thread 'Selling off poor Russian provinces' I give myself a big cash boost on the first turn by selling off 4 of the starting 9 provinces. Add a preference for the early and mid-period game, and lots of restarts results. You should invade the Polish regions you need as a victory condition last as they are a reliable ally and trade partner.I have this habit, when getting into the last few turns of the game, to realize all the things I could have done better. As you develop your war machine be sure to reinforce your main northern front with Sweden while you continue your offensive in the south. We recommend you maintain your south-eastern offensive taking Persia. By this point Swedish aggression will likely have intensified in the north. Once you take this region build a garrison to maintain order and move your troops against the regions to the east. This tiny protectorate of the Ottoman Empire has a port on to the Black Sea and is usually extremely weak in the early game. You should move against the Crimean Khanate before any other region. By far the most important initial technology for Russia is the Plug Bayonet. You will take a major hit to diplomacy for breaking an alliance but war with Sweden too early can be disastrous. If Sweden declares war on Denmark you may want to forgo participation. Your trade in fur with Poland can be a major source of income. Make sure you build fur trappers on any undeveloped resource spots during the first turn. The Crimean Khanate is a weak protectorate of the Ottoman Empire and an ideal place to start your expansion. Sweden may attack you early and will pose a serious threat if they do. During the first turn you should reinforce the borders you share with the Crimean Khanate and Sweden. ![]() For live food like worms, feed the ones that are small instead of crushing them.įeeding them twice a day and only the amount they can finish in 3 minutes is more than enough for Neon Tetras. They can grow up 1.5 inches while, in some conditions, they can stretch up to 2.5 inches. They have a short spindle-like body with a round nose and large eyes (taking most of the space on their head). Neon Tetra is known not only for having bright blue and red color combination but their ability to turn off and on the colors when hiding from predators or sleeping. The most important thing to remember with this method is that all progress (even if only 20 minutes) is still progress with your task. How much time do you think it will take to reasonably finish this task now? Would another set(s) of reverse pomodoros complete it? Or do you think working on regular pomodoro timings (25 min task, 5 min break) would help more now that you have got started on it? What about increasing to 10 minute task / 20 minute break? or 15 min task / 15 min break? The idea is to find the balance that will allow you to keep going to make good progress on the task, without overwhelming yourself. Did you find the 5 minutes helped or did you find it was too short to get going? Did you find it hard to come back after your break or did the short time motivate you? At the end of your final set of Pomodoro, the first thing to do is to evaluate: Repeat this process of 5 minutes work and 25 mins break another 2 times. Don’t forget to reset your timer for 25 minutes.Īt the end of the 25 minutes head back to your task! Same mentality as before - you only have to focus on the task for 5 minutes.Ħ. After that break, start the task and your timer again for another 5 mins. The only commitment you have to make to yourself is that when that timer goes off you will get back to your task.ĥ. This also means do not start doing another task in this time or anything else that will hold your attention past 25 minutes. If you really, honestly have got into flow state within these first 5 mins, of course you can see if you can keep going, but if not, you should take your 25 minute break completely without guilt. But for this method, the emphasis is genuinely on starting the task, not completing it. This part might feel odd because you might feel like you have only just got started. When the timer goes, stop! Reset the timer for 25 minutes and take a guilt free break But as soon as possible get back to focusing on your task.Ĥ. If something else pops into your head to do in this time, quickly note it down if you have a pen or phone handy, or else wait to note it in your break. Start the task and focus only on this for the 5 minutesĬommit yourself fully to this task for 5 minutes. Remind yourself that you just have to work for 5 minutes on it. Use your timer or Tiimo schedule to start your reverse pomodoro sprint. The one you are thinking of as you read this. It’s the task that weighs heavily on your mind….yes that one. It’s the task you know you need to do, or at least start. Normally when you talk about time management techniques there is a process for selecting the task you will start, but with the reverse pomodoro method - you will already know the task for it. Once you have completed 4 pomodoros evaluate how long it will take you to finish the task.Take another 25 minute break after your 5 mins is up.Start your next 5 minute pomodoro with a new task or complete the one you were working on.After the 5 minutes is up, take a 25 minute break.Work only on that task for the full 5 minutes .Set your timer for 5 minutes (this is called a pomodoro). There is real power in telling yourself that you only have to focus on something for 5 minutes before you can reward yourself with something that you would rather be doing…but those 5 minutes add up, especially if you would have just used all the time on a break activity anyway. While not a new idea (hat tip from us to Dusty Chipura) it does seems to be an effective one, especially for those with ADHD who can get a dopamine hit in the ‘reward’ of an extra long break or the novelty of switching up their routine. People have long played around with the duration of Pomodoros, increasing and decreasing them to find the amount of time which works best for them and their brain. Whereas the Pomodoro Technique has a pattern of focusing for 25 minutes on your task against a 5 minute break, the Reverse Pomodoro flips it for a 5 minute task start and a 25 minute break. The Reverse Pomodoro technique might be the answer. Whether it is an issue with task initiation, Autistic Inertia, lack of spoons or just good old fashioned executive dysfunction, sometimes we need an extra weapon to pull out on those tasks which we know we need to do, but just can’t start. But we also have those days when we just can’t get going - no matter how we try. While a lot of time management strategies seem completely unrealistic and unsustainable, with Pomodoro, the idea of using short bursts of activity and regular breaks really works with our brains and not against them. At Tiimo, we are fans of the Pomodoro technique*. format=xsd_excel (This format allows to extract the XSD for excel)Īdditional filter parameters to lighten the response.format=xsd (This format allows to extract the XSD). ![]() format=xml_light (This format does not contain child type associations).format=xml_excel (Format suitable for use as datasource in excel).format=xml_all (Contains the details of all associations).format=json_schema (JSON Validation Schema). The format parameter is used to modify the XML format of the response: The beCPG remote API offers the following REST URLs:įrom version 1 /becpg/remote/entity/list?path= Ī 404 error will be returned if no entity is found with the provided parameters.
